About Your Host: Dave Peterson
Dave is a lifelong resident of the Crosslake area. His passion for the outdoors started at a very young age. If he wasn’t working for his father’s construction company he was on the water, somewhere. Dave believes that the Crosslake area has the most to offer when it comes to his love of the outdoors. Due to the indefinite curtailment of the manufacturing facility where he worked Dave has decided to take his 20 years of experience guiding clients as a hobby, to guiding full time. Dave is an accomplished local tournament angler and enjoys the challenges in patterning fish for his clients. Accomplishments: 2002 - Crosslake / Ideal Lion’s Club Fishing Tournament Winner 2003 - Crosslake / Ideal Lion’s Club 3rd Place Finisher 2006 - Two 8th place finishes on the Minnesota Tournament Trail (MTT) 2007 - Two 10th place finishes on the Minnesota Tournament Trail (MTT) - Finished season averaging in the top 30% of field for all tournaments fished. 2008 - Crosslake / Ideal Lion’s Club Fishing Tournament Winner - Sponsorship Co-Chair for the MN Governor’s Fishing Opener event at Breezy Point Resort. · 2008 MN Governor Fishing Opener Host for Gov. Staff Life member of B.A.S.S (Bass Anglers Sportsman’s Society) Equipment Dave uses a "top of the line" Ranger Boat to guide his clients. His 21' long Ranger features one of the driest rides in the industry. Ranger engineers safety and reliability into every boat they build. All fishing gear is provided i.e.: Rods / reels, tackle, bait etc.
